Autism Advocacy and Consultation
Avelar Advocacy is the culmination of my life's work with Autism. I started off my journey as a parent of two children diagnosed with autism. I was overwhelmed with trying to accept and understand my children's diagnoses, while navigating special education, and learning more about how the help them reach their full potential. Today, as a professional in special education, I feel that I have the unique expertise in the area of autism as a parent, an Education Specialist Mild/ Mod, and now, as an adult seeking a diagnoses for myself.

Avelar Advocacy and Consultation provides services for consultation in regards to autism in the home and school environment. These services include home and educational consultations, IEP support, resources for home and school, and more. I also provide the same services for families of a student with disabilities other than autism.
